Because quality begins with the choice of ingredients, we work with local producers. Fresh vegetables, Swiss cheeses, meat from short supply chains, all carefully selected to guarantee authentic, recognisable and seasonal flavours.

Our Story

A local, human adventure that is always on the move.

Le Rando Burger in St-Cergue, it's more than just a restaurant. It's an idea brought to life by Gilles and Monique, a passionate couple who decided to open a small burger restaurant in Saint-Cergue in 2011. Their vision? To offer cuisine inspired by their years spent in the United States, using local, high-quality produce in a warm and simple atmosphere.

But what many people do not know is that the Rando Burger was conceived as a springboard for young people in the region. Gilles and Monique always wanted this place to serve a greater purpose: to offer a first job, a first experience, a first chance.

And for years, dozens of young people from Saint-Cergue and the surrounding area have learned here the value of work, service, and team spirit.

A close-knit team from the start

Behind the counter at Rando Burger in Saint-Cergue, a passionate local team works hard every day with a smile. Some have been part of the adventure since the beginning, others have joined the family more recently, but they all share the same spirit: that of Rando Rando.

Every burger, every portion of chips, every sauce is prepared with care and good humour. This team spirit, forged over many years, is evident both in the atmosphere of the restaurant and in the quality of the dishes served.

A story that continues

In 2025, a family close to the Rando Burger has taken up the torch, with the same passion and respect for the spirit imagined by Gilles and Monique. This family grew up here, learned here, and simply wishes to bring this wonderful adventure to life in its own way, continuing what has always made this place so charming.

The aim is not to change everything, but to gently evolve the Rando Burger. Small new features will be arriving soon, such as burgers of the month, a local delivery service, and a few improvements to the restaurant. All while keeping what matters most: fresh produce, homemade recipes and a warm welcome.
